Dear Mark, Kathryn, James and Claire,
I'd like to add my condolences. I can only imagine how hard it is to have finally said goodbye to
Arthur, a lover of lunches and a constant presence in your lives.
My memories include your father driving us down to the coast, me sitting in the rear of the Jag, watching the speedometer rise way higher than I had ever seen before! I remember being a guest at family lunches and I felt very included despite being the youngest there. I always felt welcomed in your home by Arthur. I remember some sunny days when visiting Lansbury, where I was embarrassed to find your dad sunbathing - need I say more!
It is without question that he loved you all deeply and was happy to share his good fortune with you and your friends.
This comes with my love. And best wishes from Marybeth, my mother and Sue, my sister.
