I just wanted to send my condolences to you as I know from experience how difficult it can be to lose a family member, especially one so strong and wise. Whilst I did not know him well, my distinct memory was meeting him at our ‘Introduction to new tenants’ lunch’ at your Executive centre! He clearly was not just extremely intelligent but highly interested and engaged in all aspects of various disparate businesses that make up the residents of Lansbury. My regret was that I did not spend more time getting to know him as there must have been many pearls of wisdom gained from such a full and dynamic life. Your father clearly left a positive legacy at Lansbury and as I said to you when we spoke last year about renewing the lease, there is something comfortable about the estate that I am sure makes tenants want to stay. This underlying feeling can only come from warm leadership. Kind regards, Nigel Edwards
